Responsibilities
Set up and test multiple subassemblies and final assemblies using a wide range of electronic and RF test equipment
Independently conduct module and unit tests for assigned products, requiring only minor setup assistance when needed
Perform system-level testing for all assigned products with minimal supervision
Troubleshoot and debug recurrent RF issues on a semi-independent basis, seeking guidance for unfamiliar or complex problems as necessary
Log test failures and performance data in the database, reference prior documentation, and review recurrent issues to support continuous improvement
Document and process inventory transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Configure and verify final unit assemblies to meet quality and production standards
Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts
Collaborate with other manufacturing areas as needed, including assembly and physical inventory activities
Generate product licensing across multiple product lines
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or assembly
Proficient with RF test equipment, including signal generators, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, network analyzers, and RF probes
Skilled in electronic assembly techniques, including soldering and mechanical assembly
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Access and Outlook preferred
Excellent computer skills and attention to detail in documentation and data entry
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on work in a lab or production environment
