Responsibilities
Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems: AutoCAD or MicroStation (Preferred)
Follow client, JSE, and Department of Transportation (DOT) and ASHTO codes and standards
Draft plans and detailed drawings for bridge construction and miscellaneous projects
Read construction and engineering documents to assist with creation of shop drawings
Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
Mentor associate CAD Technicians
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Design Technology, Applied Science, or alternate applicable degree
Six (6) or more years' experience in performing engineering design drafting on bridge projects
Understanding and application of civil engineering concepts and practices
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation/Bentley, and related drafting software
Understanding of Microsoft Office applications i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
Work independently and coordinate effectively with multi-disciplined project teams
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
Detail-oriented
Preferred
Experience with traffic and signage detail
Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems: AutoCAD or MicroStation
