Construction Engineering II (Part time variable)

The Construction Engineer II will manage construction engineering functions, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to engineering plans on small construction projects, while also providing construction management support and conducting site investigations across the United States.

Responsibilities
Perform ABA Accessibility investigations throughout the United States
Develop and prepare elementary 2D AutoCAD plans and elevations
Prepare independent cost estimates
Develop accessibility survey reports
Develop work scopes
Provide construction management support such as bid solicitation and reviewing submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline; or equivalent combination of experience and education
2+ years of related experience in the construction, engineering, or architecture industry
Ability to travel up to 50% to client site locations across the US
Safe and acceptable driving record and valid driver's license is required
Preferred
Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as be able to work closely with and collaborate with a small team
Thorough knowledge of construction and/or engineering principles, practices, and procedures, applicable laws, and relevant government regulations
4+ years of related experience
Previous experience supporting accessibility construction projects
