Graduate Structural Engineer

Consulting
Responsibilities
Design of buildings and miscellaneous support structures under the supervision of a licensed structural engineer
Read and interpret project plans, specifications, shop drawings and other construction documents
Provide clients with efficient engineering design that adheres to the jurisdiction's current building codes and standards
Will learn to think critically about unique structures and their solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering within 3 months
Undergraduate coursework must show emphasis in structural design
Strong project organization and management skills
Solid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Engineering-in-training (EIT) certificate, or the ability to obtain within one year
Preferred
Experience with structural analysis software (such as Abacus, RISA or STAAD)
Familiarity with AutoCAD design software, REVIT
