Remote Tax Senior
Going Concern is a 3-office, 5-Partner firm that combines a local, flexible culture with regional expertise. As a Tax Senior, you will prepare and review tax returns, support client advisory work, and mentor junior staff, all while working closely with the Partners.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and nonprofits
Conduct tax research and prepare memos or summaries on technical issues
Assist in year-round tax planning and consulting engagements
Communicate directly with clients regarding tax issues, requests, and planning opportunities
Support the Tax Manager and Partners with complex returns and special projects
Mentor and provide guidance to staff accountants, including reviewing their work
Help manage engagement workflow to ensure deadlines are met
Stay informed of changes in tax laws and regulations affecting clients
Qualification
Required
CPA license or working toward licensure
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3–5 years of recent experience in public accounting
Solid understanding of federal and multi-state tax laws
Proficiency with tax software (preferably Ultra Tax)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
