Clinical Program Supervisor - Acute Care

The Clinical Program Supervisor for Acute Care will supervise clinicians and case managers, provide guidance in crisis situations, and advocate for diverse populations while ensuring effective program operation and team alignment with policies.

Responsibilities

Serve as a resource person to clients, clinical staff, administrative staff, behavioral health technicians, peer specialists, triage coordinators, case managers and other members of the clinical team, nursing staff, team leads, and contract staff within 24/7 programming
Provide direct supervision to clinical, triage coordinator, case management, behavioral health technician, and/or peer specialist staff in Acute Care
Work closely with Acute Care clinical, operations, and medical leadership to expand and improve programs in Acute Services
Identify ways to increase operational or clinical effectiveness and efficiency. Collect and provide information to help inform leadership decision making
Help to ensure staff are aligned in practice with SummitStone policy and procedure. Help develop and foster team values with staff. Provide support and remove barriers
Collaborate with other staff and leaders in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical services
Provide training, coaching, and technical assistance in clinical and administrative areas. Onboard new team members to Acute Care. Provide feedback to staff and address performance issues or disciplinary action when needed
Facilitate staff meetings, training, projects, and staff or client consultations

Qualification

Master’s degreeBehavioral health experienceColorado professional licenseLeadership experienceCPR certificationFirst Aid certificationBilingual/bi-culturalCAC IIILACValid Colorado driver’s license

Required

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field from accredited College or University required
More than three years of experience in a residential or behavioral health environment required
More than one year of experience in a leadership role in the behavioral health field required
Current Colorado professional license in appropriate discipline (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) required (for positions providing clinical supervision toward licensure)
Valid Colorado driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required
CPR and First Aid certifications required

Preferred

CAC III or LAC preferred
More than one year of experience in acute or emergency care preferred
Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred
