The Social Media Contractor will manage the company's social media presence, focusing on driving bag purchases through engaging content and interactions across various platforms.
Consumer Services
Responsibilities
Post weekly: 3 feed posts, 3–4 stories, 1–2 Reels, plus 1–2 posts on a test channel
Capture content in Austin (bag drop-offs, before/afters, community reuse wins, founder BTS, tips, offers)
Manage comments/DMs, escalate via Slack when needed
Build simple paid tests with our team (revenue objective) and iterate on what converts
Track everything (UTMs, link-in-bio, discount codes) and report weekly in Notion
Secure photo/model/property releases; obscure addresses/plates/faces when no release
Appear on-camera and interact with customers (when released), ideally comfortable as a friendly on-screen guide
Qualification
Required
Proven social storytelling (short-form video + captions); clean grammar and tight hooks
Portfolio: 2+ accounts you've managed with before/after metrics + ≥2 sample Reels you shot/edited
Data-driven: you test, tag, and learn (Canva Pro, Notion, Google Drive, Slack; suggest other tools you love)
Local: strong Austin knowledge; genuine passion for resale/thrift/reuse
