Sales Director (Technical Sales)

Supply Energetics is a U.S. technology company advancing the future. We’re hiring a Sales Director to lead our technical sales efforts and grow our customer base across firearms, aerospace, and defense markets, focusing on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing business in the energetics space.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage customer relationships across firearms manufacturers, defense primes and sub-primes, and related industries
Sell nitrocellulose-based products and energetics systems with a strong technical understanding of their applications
Translate customer requirements into solutions, coordinating with internal production and engineering teams
Prepare proposals, pricing, and technical presentations
Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and deliver regular sales forecasts
Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer meetings
Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership to inform product development and strategy

Required

U.S. citizenship with compliance to REAL ID and defense-related work requirements
2–5 years of sales experience in chemicals, energetics, defense, or closely related industries
Strong technical acumen with ability to understand chemical/energetics manufacturing processes
Proven ability to build relationships and close deals in a B2B environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently in a remote role, with regular travel as required

Preferred

Prior experience selling energetics, nitrocellulose products, or defense-related chemicals
Technical degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field
Familiarity with defense procurement processes and compliance requirements (ITAR, DoD, etc.)
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
