Responsibilities
Responsible for a high-profile trade secrets litigation case in federal court, serving as a legal resource on-site in Palo Alto
Develop and execute an aggressive litigation strategy, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Draft key pleadings such as preliminary injunction, dispositive motions, complex discovery requests, and responses
Conduct and defend depositions of key technical and fact witnesses
Act as a core member of the trial team, including examination of witnesses and argument of motions
Coordinate with other counsel, in-house team, and technical experts
Qualification
Required
Skilled and trial-ready contract attorneys
Experience in litigation, specifically in federal civil jury trials
Experience in trade secrets and intellectual property cases
3 to 15+ years of experience in litigation
Ability to develop and execute an aggressive litigation strategy
Experience in drafting key pleadings such as preliminary injunctions, dispositive motions, and complex discovery requests
Experience in conducting and defending depositions of key technical and fact witnesses
Ability to act as a core member of the trial team, including examination of witnesses and argument of motions
Ability to coordinate with other counsel, in-house team, and technical experts
