Responsibilities
Managing the development of C++ code
Software requirement definition, design, code, test, integration, and verification activities for simulation software
Management and development of the team
Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions
Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development
Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program
Qualification
Required
Experience in managing the development of C++ code
Experience in software requirement definition, design, code, test, integration, and verification activities for simulation software
Experience in managing and developing a team
Experience in providing technical coaching and mentoring
Experience in planning, conducting, and coordinating software development activities
Experience in coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development
Experience in supporting program development and execution of program requirements
Experience in adhering to engineering development processes
Experience in promoting customer focus and serving as the technical conscience for their program
Experience developing embedded software in C++ and Linux operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence
Ability to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle
