Mechanical Engineer PE, Facilities - Lakeland

Responsibilities

Training and coordinating work with the mechanical engineering team
Designing mechanical systems used in Publix stores and acting as the primary Mechanical Engineer of Record
Participating in the design and production of construction documents for new prototypes and site-specific projects
Answering questions and providing direction to various customers to promote accurate interpretation of plans by contractors

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE)
10 years as a licensed PE in retail grocery design
Driver's license to operate a motor vehicle
AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier-HAP, Elite-Fire and Danfoss-Cool Selector or equivalent experience
Knowledge of current Codes affecting Mechanical, Plumbing, Refrigeration and Fire Sprinkler Design within Publix footprint
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer licensed in states Publix does business in
12 years as a licensed PE in retail grocery design
