Responsibilities
Accurately entering orders in the Point of Sale (POS) system
Processing sales transactions following Preston Feather policies for pricing, discounts, payment and credit memo terms
Assisting with stock receiving, merchandising, and inventory cycle counts
Sporadically retrieving materials from yard and loading into customer vehicles, often requiring lifting up to 50 lbs
Guide people through sales, orders, and service
Partner with sales team on deliveries
Sell hardware and handle smaller projects
Use Spruce ERP software for orders and payments
Schedule vendor meetings
Qualification
Required
Retail or customer service experience strongly preferred
Hardware or construction knowledge a plus
Prior experience using a POS system, or confidence in learning new technologies
A high school diploma or GED
Minimum 18 years of age
