They are seeking a Project Inspector to assist with projects in Charleston, WV, responsible for interacting with project partners, interpreting project plans, and ensuring quality assurance in construction work.
Consulting
Responsibilities
Interact with project partners such as clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Read and interpret project plans and specifications
Follow applicable QA/QC procedures
Measure, calculate, and determine all quantities of assigned work and / or installed materials
Report any deficiencies in the contractors work to the Project Engineer or Project Manager
Prepare Daily Inspector’s Reports using various software such as Word and AASHTOWare Project (AWP)
Qualification
Required
Experience in Transportation Construction Inspection and Engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer skills including use of e-mail, Excel AND Word
Level II, III, IV WVDOH TRET Certification or ability to obtain
