Responsibilities

Proactively hunt for threats and undetected abuse by leveraging internal data, open-source intelligence, and third party private intelligence

Investigate complex cases to understand how abuse is occurring and implement enforcement strategies to mitigate and/or detect harm

Identify areas to automate investigative tooling and tradecraft

Analyze and interpret large datasets to advance investigations, quantify trends or support findings

Implement effective strategies to prevent and disrupt abuse at scale

Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material

This role may inadvertently have exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e

Child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing

Required

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, System engineering or related field

Completion of a university-level course, research project, or internship involving the following:

Financial cybercrime investigations, social media graph analysis, and cross-platform integrity threat analysis

Detection of financially motivated threat actor networks and implementation of software-based countermeasures

End-to-end technical investigation processes and reporting of outcomes to investigators, legal teams, policy teams, and executive stakeholders

Cybersecurity, private sector investigations, intelligence operations, and government-based threat analysis

Account-based threat assessment to understand source of harm

Scripting using Python, PHP, or similar programming languages

Large-scale data analysis using tools such as Maltego, Palantir, and Tableau

Technical reporting and documentation of investigation findings

Integration of investigative techniques with engineering methodologies

Project coordination for enterprise-level initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders

Cyber threat identification, including complex and advanced threats
