Associate Aerospace Engineer

Responsibilities
Develop air and missile system dynamics, controls, guidance, and navigation models
Reverse engineer flight parameters for existing systems
Analyze real world data and compare against simulated data for model verification
Research new algorithms for air and missile systems
Develop python code for models and simulations
Qualification
Required
Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math or equivalent degree from accredited university
0-5 years of experience
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance
Experience with missile defense systems is highly desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers
Preferred
Programming experience in Python preferred or Matlab
Experience with GIT, Gitlab, or DevOps (or similar) preferred
Experience in physics-based models and simulations preferred
