Responsibilities

Ensure the protection and support of our employees and assets through close coordination with the Security Operations team and other business process service providers
Develop and manage critical communications to key partners throughout the incident response life-cycle
Utilize technology, reporting, and investigative skills to respond to requests, initiate, and resolve security cases
Employ Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) for real-time situational awareness, threat management, and investigative purposes
Perform technology-based access control functions, including updating employee access levels, configuring new access levels, and running detailed access control reports
Regularly engage with Security Operations Centers worldwide to test system functionality, program efficiencies, and technology performance
Conduct routine audits of security access control systems to ensure protocol compliance and identify opportunities for infrastructure enhancement
Be responsible for motivating, coaching, and training the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operators
Manage schedule coordination and ensure appropriate coverage for team absences and time-off requests
Take responsibility for quality control of all GSOC products and reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Assist in the management of GSOC's training programs, developing and deploying adaptive training initiatives that equip team members to respond effectively to dynamic security scenarios
Develop data-driven security strategies, utilizing analytics to track and monitor key security performance indicators for enhanced decision-making and threat response
Assist in the management and coordination of security vendor contracts, including onsite guarding services, technology and systems support, and special event security. This involves participating in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Establish a strong working relationship with Global Security Program Management, leveraging their expertise to ensure alignment, effective coordination, and oversight support across cross-functional initiatives
Perform other ad hoc duties or special projects as assigned by Global Security management

Required

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent or BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
4+ years of experience as a Lead within a Command Center, 911, GSOC, Emergency Operations Environment or similar environment
Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification
Ability stay on your feet for extended periods to time for Incident Management or support to Campus Security Operations
Ability to lift up to 20.5 lbs. to support emergency response or relocation
Leadership skills, with an emphasis on customer service and teamwork
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the organization
Experience working in the security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service industry is helpful
Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to adapt to our 24/7 operation
Proficiency in security technology and computer systems (Google Suite, Lenel access control systems, Incident Management Systems (Everbridge/VCC), CCTV platforms and radio dispatch systems)
Excellent understanding of incident response, Crisis Management, Incident Management, Emergency Response
Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance, monitoring of assets, and making rapid notifications via mass communication tools
Knowledge and/or direct experience creating security intelligence-based products
Professional, eloquent, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
Superb ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials with the strictest confidence
Ability to tackle problems creatively, and the desire to create and build new processes
Strong time management, ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail

Preferred

Associates Degree or above
The flexibility to work any assigned shift and to attend meetings and training sessions
2+ years supervising a team
2+ years working with Lenel, CCTV monitoring, incident management technology (Everbridge/VCC)
