Responsibilities

Development of embedded firmware for real-time systems
Specify and implement drivers, algorithms, and protocols to be integrated into our BPL communications system
Responsible for low-level design, implementation and unit testing of key features in networking technologies
Participation in continuous improvement processes

Required

Bachelor's or Master's in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Strong computer programming skills
Good knowledge of software architecture, software development methodologies, and tools
Good knowledge of C programming and network protocols
Knowledge of low-level programming (OS core and drivers)
Knowledge of the GNU tool chain
Knowledge of script programming (Python, bash)
Good knowledge of IP networks and communication protocols
Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, uC/OS, ThreadX)
Knowledge of embedded CPU architectures
Knowledge of Linux systems at an administration level
Strong desire to learn and develop deep skills in embedded software development for networking products
Proficient in written and spoken English

Preferred

Industry experience in embedded software development and communication systems will be an asset
