Abyss Solutions Ltd is looking for a Solution Architect to work on their flagship product, Abyss Fabric. The role involves focusing on enterprise workflows, architectures, and infrastructure to support oil & gas operators with their asset integrity business functions, while also engaging with customers and ensuring successful product integration.

Responsibilities

Analyze and plan integration with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and other key industry platforms

Creates high-level solution designs and workflows, aligning customer requirements with what Abyss can deliver

Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and test integrations

Collaborate with customer success to understand and map out their technical and business needs

Lead IT and digital onboarding processes with customer IT and digital ecosystem

Provide hands-on guidance for integrating products into client environments

Act as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries and challenges

Design and present customized solutions aligned with customer objectives

Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure timely resolution

Identify operational gaps and opportunities where Abyss Solutions can deliver value

Gather feedback to guide product improvements and Evangelise the adoption of new features

Advocate for customer needs internally to influence product roadmaps

Partner with sales, product development, and engineering teams to deliver cohesive solutions

Prepare and deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and training

Act as a trusted advisor for customers, building long-term relationships

Required

In-person. Must be local and willing to office in Houston, Texas

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

9+ years in a solutions architect, technical consulting, or similar role

Strong experience in B2B customer engagement and designing technical solutions

Proven expertise in API Integration (REST, GraphQL), AWS, Security, Software Architecture, Mongo (NoSQL & SQL), UX

Experience with Maximo, SAP, AutoCAD, GE APM, Bentley Systems, Service Max etc

BI and Analytics tools

Preferred

Experience in asset integrity digital space is a bonus
