Nexeo Plastics is a leading global thermoplastic resins distributor, and they are seeking a Manager of IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. This role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture, while leading a team to support business operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of network, server, storage, and cloud infrastructure

Ensure system uptime, performance, and scalability across all environments

Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for infrastructure components

Lead (by providing hands-on support) the implementation of various Cybersecurity tools such as Crowdstrike, Cisco XDR and NinjaOne

Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures

Monitor threat intelligence and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities

Oversee identity and access management, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention

Directly manage Security Operations Center (SOC)

Supervise and mentor a team of infrastructure and cybersecurity professionals

Conduct performance reviews, training plans, and career development initiatives

Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.)

Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation plans

Lead internal and external audits related to IT and security

Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT infrastructure and security strategies with business goals

Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure and cybersecurity projects

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate
