Responsibilities
Evaluate potential participants and identify who may qualify for study enrollment
Perform focused physical and neurologic exams required for each study
Support patients through the visit, answer questions, and monitor for safety concerns
Follow study instructions for each visit and ensure all required steps are completed
Document assessments clearly and accurately in the EMR and study systems
Work closely with research coordinators and clinical staff to keep visits running smoothly
Communicate updates or concerns to supervising investigators and study leadership
Complete study-specific training provided by sponsors
Participate in occasional meetings or trainings related to active studies
Qualification
Required
Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in neurology, internal medicine, family medicine, or a related field
Comfort with protocol-driven environments and structured workflows
Preferred
Active license to practice as an FNP in the State of Texas is preferred
Prior clinical research experience is ideal but not required. We will train a motivated clinician with strong assessment skills and attention to detail
