Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Engineer within Utility Systems, part of the Vehicle Systems team, in the Air Mobility & Maritime Missions line of business. The selected candidate will primarily function as an Environmental Control Systems engineer, focusing on troubleshooting, production support, and operational improvement of aircraft systems such as Air Conditioning and Pneumatic Systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting

Production and sustainment support

Operational improvement of aircraft Air Conditioning, Ice & Rain Protection, and Pneumatic Systems including Engine Bleed Air

Drive production and sustainment solutions including design improvements, software improvements, drawing changes, data review, drafting reports, System Integration Lab (SIL) testing and investigation of production and sustainment nonconformances

Leverage data and trend analysis to drive operational improvement

Effectively interact and communicate with various internal engineering organizations, program management, and the customer

This position is located at a facility that requires a DoD security clearance

Effective verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact and communicate with various internal engineering organizations, program management, and the customer

Experience as an Environmental Control Systems (ECS) engineer

Experience with troubleshooting, production and sustainment support, and operational improvement of aircraft Air Conditioning, Ice & Rain Protection, and Pneumatic Systems including Engine Bleed Air

Familiarity with leveraging data and trend analysis to drive operational improvement

Experience with design improvements, software improvements, drawing changes, data review, drafting reports, System Integration Lab (SIL) testing and investigation of production and sustainment nonconformances
