Responsibilities

Design nuclear fuel handling systems and subsystems, including equipment and processes from requirements to final design

Integrate and coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, controls, civil, nuclear) to develop plant and equipment specifications

Review and integrate analyses such as thermal, seismic, and structural stress into plant designs

Develop technical design documents such as System Design Descriptions, Engineering Design Specifications, and Interface Control Documents

Propose and oversee testing programs, evaluate results, and support licensing activities related to Safety Analysis Reports

Provide leadership and technical direction, managing system requirements and overseeing contractor deliverables
