Responsibilities
Teach and coordinate Tier 2 & 3 intervention for target students
Facilitate the management and interpretation of data necessary to develop, implement and evaluate Tier 1, 2 & 3 interventions
Communicate and collaborate professionally with teammates, parents, and community members to assist in coordination of intervention services for target students
Provide non-evaluative classroom observation and feedback, modeling, and other supportive assistance necessary related to the implementation of the RTI process
Analyze informal and formal student assessment results to measure students’ growth towards goals and to monitor students mastery of the content standards
Maintain high expectations for students academic achievement and conduct
Results-driven educational leader with a commitment to standards-based curriculum and the use of data and assessments to drive instructional decisions
Value and draw upon students’ experiences and backgrounds
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies based on the diverse needs of all the students that engage all students
Exemplify the core values at all times
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Perform other duties as assigned by Head of School or Supervisor
Provide class coverage for math instruction as needed, ensuring continuity of learning and support for students during teacher absences
Demonstrated commitment to the educational mission, vision, and goals of Freedom Prep
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Strong computer skills including Google Suite & Microsoft Office
Willingness and dedication to providing support to teachers and students
Results-oriented individual - a flexible thinker willing to do 'whatever it takes'
Keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic motivated by a goal of consistent excellence
3 or more years of full-time teaching experience
Valid Tennessee teaching license
Preferred
Master's degree strongly preferred
Endorsement(s) in Mathematics/Elementary Education strongly preferred
