As a Sales Engineer / Inside Sales Representative, you will convert qualified interest into lasting partnerships, guiding prospects through demonstrations of the service and technology while managing a pipeline of inbound leads.

Responsibilities

Become an expert on our proprietary technology and service offering, leading demonstrations that clearly illustrate our process and value to prospective clients
Manage a pipeline of warm inbound leads, acting as the main point of contact and trusted advisor
Collaborate with prospects to deeply understand their challenges and effectively articulate the value and ROI of our service
Maintain and grow relationships with brokers and insurance carrier representatives, turning them into advocates for Self Bill Pro
Partner with marketing and product teams to refine our go-to-market strategy and sales process
Act as the voice of the customer, providing valuable feedback to our product and engineering teams to help shape the future of the internal platform that powers our service
Diligently track sales activities and pipeline data in CRM tools

Qualification

B2B sales experienceTechnical aptitudeCommunication skillsRelationship-buildingHR tech experienceInsurance industry knowledgeBachelor’s degree

Required

3+ years of experience in a B2B sales role involving technology or tech-enabled services
Strong technical aptitude; you are skilled at making complex solutions and processes feel simple and intuitive
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills—you thrive in front of customers (virtually)
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred

Experience in the HR tech, employee benefits, or insurance industry is a huge plus, but not a requirement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
