Responsibilities

Prepare detailed drawings of new or original designs, working with design originators

Create and complete accurate layouts, detailed drawings, piping diagrams, and tool fixtures

Work independently on the development of original designs. Create detailed manufacturing drawings

Analyze various design project requirements and present design options

Create part numbers, item descriptions, bill of materials, standards, and specifications

Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Perform all other duties as assigned

Mechanical knowledgeBlueprint readingAutoCADMicrosoft OfficeAttention to detailEffective communication

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in related discipline

Entry level mechanical knowledge

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Basic math skills with the ability to understand dimensions and measurements

Able to interpret information accurately

Attention to detail is required

Effective communication skills; speaking clearly and effectively and writing legibly and effectively

Must have regular and punctual attendance

Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred

Experience with Auto CAD or equivalent software

Previous experience in an Engineering environment or relevant work experience
