Platform Engineering - Summer 2026 Intern

The role involves working with the Platform Engineering team to deliver enterprise-grade software solutions and support fund administration and operations while contributing to portfolio analytics projects.

Responsibilities
Work with the investments management group on the key workflows needed for external and internal users to support investments creation, review, and approval
Support fund administration and operations in solving fun and complex problems of our private equity and hedge fund finance desks
Assist with portfolio analytics projects that provides industry leading quantitative analytics to help CIOs, researchers, and advisors better manage their portfolios and utilize alternative assets
Contribute to our Data Science team in building a service layer that is used to transform static documents by utilizing advanced AI/ML/OCR/NLP capabilities
Work on components with a focus on developer-friendly APIs, accessibility, and responsive web
Help to create a consistent, user-friendly, and scalable platform
Qualification
Required
Experience with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, data structures, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large systems or security software development
Possess a solid understanding of Agile development, object-oriented design, and programming languages
Able to provide code examples of production ready code
Experience in programming with one or more of the following: Ruby (rails), JavaScript (React), Python, Java/Scala, C++, C#
Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver
Possess foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Able to adapt to new responsibilities and manage competing priorities
Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor's degree program
Must be available to work the duration of the program from June 7th through August 8th to be eligible
Committed to working five days a week in the New York City office for the entire duration of the internship
