Responsibilities

Execute sales strategies and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met
Develop new customer accounts, consistently increasing number of accounts within territory through cold calling and prospecting
Maintain and grow relationships with current customers by regularly making on-site visits; email and phone communications, as needed
Respond to customer inquiries, assessing needs and offering solutions from our catalog of over 500+ industrial, maintenance, and repair products
Capture the interest of customers by demonstrating our high-quality products
Submit orders and required reports via Pro Chem’s electronic systems – daily, weekly, and monthly
Develop daily/monthly sales plans for assigned territory; achieve monthly sales goals
Manage own schedule and work independently

Qualification

Required

High School diploma required, College degree preferred
Must have strong communication skills and be able to interact with various levels of an organization, from end users to decision makers
Ability and interest in learning large amounts of product/ industry information
Must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Netsuite experience is a plus
Strong time management skills - must be disciplined and structured enough to plan out routes and weekly appointments in advance
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 40+ hours per week, which is necessary for success in this role
Must be able to travel within assigned territory daily; occasional travel to other territories for training and annual corporate sales meeting
Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, have a clean driving record and have reliable transportation
Physical Demands and Work Environment: driving, getting into and out of an automobile; occasional lifting and lowering of products up to 25 lbs.; regular exposure to industrial environments (may have their own visitation requirements: eg. hard hats/eye covers, flat shoes etc.); may be exposed to hot and cold conditions
