Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) Senior Operations Engineer (NASA LTVS Award Contingent)

Axiom Space is collaborating with Astrolab, Inc. to develop a Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) for future Artemis missions. They are seeking a resilient and experienced Senior Operations Engineer to support NASA’s LTV Services contract, focusing on EVA and EVR operations and hardware.

Responsibilities

Supporting LTV hardware teams in evaluating EVA crew interface designs with operational inputs
Defining and maintaining LTV EVA concept of operations, crew training plans and procedures
Conducting LTV hardware design audits, Human In The Loop (HITL) testing and crew training
Performing additional job duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in STEM from an accredited institution
5-10 years of experience with human spaceflight operations and hardware with a focus on EVA or EVR
Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software suites
