They are seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to assist with various engineering tasks and projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Preparation of reports, construction plans, and technical specifications for projects

Working under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member and assist with tasks including preparing engineering related calculations, drawings, and visual aids

Perform site visits and field observations before and during construction

Able to conduct field work, tolerate variable environmental conditions, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds, when needed

Following corporate quality procedures

Collaborating with design teams consisting of multidiscipline design engineers, technicians and planners

Ensure that projects comply with local regulations and safety standards

Maintain proper documentation of projects, including design changes, reports, and test results

Stay updated on industry standards, building codes, and software advancements

Take initiative to learn new skills or technologies that improve project efficiency or design

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or similar, from an accredited university

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microstation

1-2 years of internship experience providing engineering design for storm water, wastewater, transportation, and or site development engineering projects

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Course work in water resources, transportation, or relevant coursework
