They are seeking a Product Engineer in Hydraulic Product Engineering to contribute to a major program, focusing on the analysis, design, and development of complex hardware for space-rated applications.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute programs and deliver space-rated hardware to the customer

Provide direction to Technicians as well as coordinate with Program Management, Quality, Project Engineering, and Design Engineering to maintain high integrity products

Contribute to the analysis, design, development, and test of complex hardware used on commercial and NASA vehicles

Identify and execute plans to improve cost and schedule on development and production programs

Lead failure investigations to determine root case and implement corrective actions

Generate technical data, reports, and procedures for assigned programs

For production programs, serve as technical focal point for internal and external customers

Collaborate with other Moog resources to resolve production problems and perform Material Review Board (MRB) analyses

Evaluate, sustain, implement, and improve assembly & test methods, fixtures, and test equipment necessary for product delivery

Required

Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant technical experience

General knowledge in the areas of Hydraulics, Root Cause / Corrective Action, LEAN, Project Planning, Data Acquisition and Analysis

Ability to work onsite in East Aurora, NY (remote candidates will not be considered)

Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance

Preferred

Experience in the aerospace or other regulated industry

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills
