Business Development Manager (Filtration)

Responsibilities

Identify filtration opportunities within our current customer base
Pursue new business opportunities through networking, research, and prospecting
Utilize CRM to manage, track, and prioritize potential opportunities
Disseminate leads to the sales force and track progress to conclusion
Develop and implement business strategies to drive filtration sales growth
Drive creation of suitable marketing collateral and digital marketing material
Inspire and equip associates to clearly communicate the benefits of our filtration products and solutions
Conduct joint sales calls with sales representatives to target existing customers
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements to position the company as a trusted advisor and solutions provider
Develop and maintain productive relationships with key customer decision-makers, supplier partners, and internal stakeholders
Foster collaboration with credit, accounting, supply chain, and customer service teams
Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products
Attend industry events when appropriate
Gather customer insights to inform strategy and product positioning
Work closely with Regional Sales, Field Service, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, and Strategic Suppliers to deliver integrated product and service solutions
Collaborate with marketing teams to drive campaigns and awareness
Partner with RSMs and supplier partners to pursue new business and drive product development
Lead or support the preparation of strategic proposals, bids, and presentations for key accounts and high-value opportunities
Deliver and facilitate training across all regions to support sales enablement
Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory levels and support growth initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
5 years of related experience in business development
Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver expected results
Advanced verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across teams
Proficient in business software, including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Strong sense of resolve and perseverance
Self-disciplined and highly motivated
Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills
Strong work ethic pursuing a high standard of excellence
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skilled in conducting critical and constructive conversations
