New Grad, Entry LevelAdvantest is seeking a Laser Operator at their Allentown, PA location. The main focus of this position is to perform CAD file manipulation, CAD to CAM conversions, and process materials on an industrial laser to support production while also managing inventory and production documentation.

Responsibilities
Perform CAD to CAM conversions and manipulate electronic files
Operate industrial laser equipment
Operate microscope and 3D measurement system
Enter data into ERP system, release new jobs to production
Manage RDIS inventory
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Collaborate with engineers and technicians
Have ability to learn and be cross-trained in other disciplines
Follow clean room and ESD policies, become familiar with and practice 6S principles in order to maintain a safe, neat, and orderly workplace
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Qualification
Required
Perform CAD to CAM conversions and manipulate electronic files
Operate industrial laser equipment
Operate microscope and 3D measurement system

Ability to comfortably and competently communicate with engineers, technicians and operators
CAD experience
Good computer skills, fluency with MS Word and Excel
Ability to read, write and clearly communicate in English
Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures
Ability to interpret prints and specifications
Strong attention to detail required
Ability to produce quality work under pressure – in a quick-turn environment
Ability to skillfully utilize a microscope
Moderate physical lifting (up to 40 lbs)
