The VA Heart of Texas Health Care Network is seeking a Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst for a detail assignment not to exceed 120 days. The role involves overseeing supply chain operations, planning fiscal and administrative operations, and managing logistics functions to ensure an efficient supply chain.

Responsibilities

Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization

Plans and coordinates fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations

Establishes, monitors and manages the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain

Conducts logistics audits, compliance reviews and program effectiveness/efficiency reviews

Manages all activities involved in the supply chain management to include sourcing, procurement and logistics management activities

Responsible for linking major business functions and processes within the organization into a cohesive and high performing business model

Forecast planning and budget execution for supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable/non-expendable and capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation and distribution

Leads and/or participates in regular meetings, ensuring logistics needs and requirements are being met

Performs other related duties as assigned

Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-12 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization
