Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for work related to the program both technical and administrative
Experience in planning, estimating, organizing, staffing, and executing projects to scale to include multiple, distributed teams
Manage organization of GaN employees and subcontractors
Frequently engages with customers and staff in order to plan and track all work
Develops project plans as needed and tracks progress until delivery
Contributes to the development of project management strategies and processes
Develops resource management plans and controls program cost
Develops Work Breakdown Structures where appropriate
Assists in managing change associated to projects
Communicates pertinent information and requirements to program staff, the customer and company leadership
Ensure quality standards on all deliverables
Analyzes program risk, develops, and implements mitigation strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or related discipline
10+ years of relevant experience as a Program Manager or related role
8+ years of intensive and progressive experience in supervising and managing substantive application software development or implementation projects (to include 1+ years of cloud migration, implementation or contract support)
4+ years of experience in a PM role employing Agile delivery methods as the primary project management strategy
Project Management Institute – Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or equivalent certification
Active Secret Clearance
Experience with project management tools (MS Project)
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to work independently
Good understanding of Government contracting
