Senior Vice President of Sales
StraussGroup, an executive search consultancy, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales to lead commercial activities across multiple divisions in the construction, manufacturing, and distribution markets. This newly created executive position will unify sales strategies and drive revenue growth while fostering a collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement unified sales strategies across multiple business units
Lead, coach, and develop sales leaders and teams across three divisions
Design and manage sales structure, forecasting, and performance KPIs
Implement consistent CRM (Pipedrive) utilization and data-driven reporting
Establish SOPs and accountability frameworks for a proactive sales culture
Drive growth through new customer acquisition, cross-selling, and market expansion
Partner with operations and production to ensure alignment and profitability
Build strong relationships with customers across Western and Upstate New York and beyond
Qualification
Required
Proven success in senior-level sales or commercial leadership
Experience building or scaling multi-location sales teams
Skilled in CRM adoption, pipeline management, and process improvement
Strong leadership presence and high emotional intelligence
Comfortable working in a blue-collar, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Manufacturing, industrial, or building materials experience preferred
