Responsibilities

Drive a data-driven and scientific approach to injection molding equipment and processes

Develop and optimize injection molding processes for new and existing products

Conduct mold trials, validate tooling, and establish robust process parameters

Troubleshoot molding issues such as splay, flash, short shots, warpage, and dimensional inconsistencies

Collaborate with tooling, quality, automation, maintenance, and production teams to resolve process-related issues

Own root cause analysis and corrective actions for scrap reduction, cycle time improvements, and asset health and performance

Maintain and update process documentation including setup sheets, work instructions, and trial logbooks

Train technicians and operators on proper molding techniques and process controls

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
