They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer I for their Traffic Analysis & Planning group, responsible for conducting traffic studies, design details, and collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Complete operational analysis, corridor studies, traffic studies, innovative intersection implementation, traffic calming, and safety analysis

Bicycle/pedestrian/multi-modal feasibility, analysis, design, and implementation

Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilizes computers in order to solve problems

Research and prepare material specifications, installation guidelines, and inspection protocols

Work to complete design details and plan sets

Complete field observation, inspection and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staff

Collaborate with client staff and internal design team as directed by senior engineering staff

Contribute to cost estimates and technical reports that drive project success

Required

A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a closely related degree with coursework in transportation/traffic
