The role involves teaching, conducting research, and representing the seminary to Baptist constituents while guiding graduate students in their vocational discernment.

Teach courses in the areas of Baptist History, Polity, Theology, and/or Witness
Direct the Baptist program
Represent the seminary to Baptist constituents
Guide graduate students in vocation call and discernment
Participate in departmental service
Serve the academic unit and the university through various committee assignments
Engage in service to the wider community
Qualification
Required
Candidates must possess an earned research doctorate, such as a Ph.D., Th.D., or Ed.D., in an appropriate field of study no later than December 31, 2025
Candidates must be committed to the Baptist tradition with evidence of active involvement in Baptist church life
Preferred
Preference will be given to those with a M.Div
Prior classroom and ministry experience will be valued highly
