As a Residential Advisor, you will guide and support students in a nurturing environment, helping them develop life skills and promoting positive behavior.

Responsibilities

Provides guidance, direction, and support to promote students’ personal growth, independence, and social skills

Assists students with daily living activities, homework, and the development of life skills

Maintains a positive and respectful living environment that encourages cooperation and good citizenship

Plans, organizes, and participates in recreational, social, and educational activities

Monitors student behavior and addresses issues in accordance with established policies and procedures

Communicates with staff, parents, and administration regarding student needs, concerns, and progress

Maintains required logs, reports, and documentation related to student activities and care

Responds to emergencies and follows established safety and security protocols
