Strategic Client Executive, Employee Health & Benefits

The Strategic Client Executive will manage complex client portfolios, serve as the primary contact for HR and C-suite leaders, and lead client implementation processes while ensuring a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities
Manage complex client portfolios and serve as the primary contact for HR, Finance, and C-suite leaders
Lead client implementation processes by coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery
Resolve claims, billing, and eligibility issues to maintain a seamless client experience
Oversee all deliverables and timelines to ensure accuracy and timely completion
Collaborate with internal teams to align client strategies with market trends and benchmarking data—including Mercer Survey insights
Lead staff training to foster strong relationships across all client levels
Coordinate with Client Service Support and specialty teams to review tasks, monitor progress, and strategize upcoming projects
Manage data entry and analysis in the Agency Management System to inform marketing and proposal strategies
Lead the RFP process by guiding support teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with client needs
Present proposals internally, participate in carrier negotiations, and contribute to strategic planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Employee Benefits or HR required; 7 years experience preferred
Extensive (in depth) knowledge of applicable insurance products/lines inclusive of fully insured and self-funded markets
Extensive knowledge of risk management techniques, employee benefits markets and marketing techniques, as well as knowledge of carrier appetite
Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days
Prior broker experience highly desired
