Responsibilities
Administer day-to-day operations of defined contribution retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), and profit-sharing plans
Ensure accurate and timely processing of plan contributions, distributions, loans, and withdrawals
Conduct annual compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, top-heavy, and 402(g) limits
Prepare and review annual IRS Form 5500 filings and ensure compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations
Calculate employer contributions, vesting, and matching contributions according to plan documents and participant elections
Maintain plan records and participant data accurately in the retirement plan administration system
Stay informed about changes in retirement plan legislation and industry trends to advise clients and ensure plan compliance
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in retirement plan administration, with specific experience in defined contribution plans
Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations governing retirement plans
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred
Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), or similar certifications
