Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Senior IT Security Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect the organization’s computer networks and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement security architectures, including firewalls, access controls, encryptions standards, and intrusion detection systems

Ensure cyber security tools and solutions are highly available and up to date

Accountable for remediation of any Security Incidents, Identified Vulnerabilities, an implementation of any security system Hardening activities

Create and enforce IT Cyber Security Standards and Practices.Champion collaboration between IT teams, Risk Management, and 3rd party Security Partners

Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
