Responsibilities
Build models and run ab initio molecular dynamics simulations using CP2K
Modeling chemical reactions in gas/liquid phase, and solid-liquid interface using CP2K
Run DFT calculations on CP2K
Good communications skills are critical to the project assignment. Strong emphasis is placed on candidates that can find solutions to difficult problems. through structured project management while working in a team environment
Qualification
Required
The candidate should be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. or Ph.D. degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or equivalent field
Experience with CP2K software is required
Knowledge of ab initio molecular dynamics is required
Preferred
Knowledge of quantum chemistry calculations is desirable
Knowledge of modeling chemical reactions is desirable
Experience working in a Linux cluster environment is desirable
Experience with LAMMPS is desirable
Experience with GAUSSIAN is desirable
Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, python, C/C++, etc. is desirable
