Responsibilities

Evaluate existing data sources and build predictive or explanatory models to aid in a variety of player acquisition, player development and gameplay decisions

Collaborate with other Baseball Operations departments (e.g., Baseball Operations, Player Development, Domestic and International Scouting, High Performance) on studies, models and/or tooling to assist in meeting their specific departmental goals and strategic needs

Participate in cross-departmental initiatives and collaboration efforts

Qualification

Required

Advanced degree (Masters/PhD.) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related experience and/or training

Equivalent combination of education and experience
