Responsibilities

Independently calculate, analyze and verify interest income for the company’s investments and interest expense for all debt obligations, applying sound judgment to ensure accuracy and compliance
Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank balances and financial records, proactively identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of balances, interest, fees, and other financial items, using discretion to resolve complex variances
Foster a collaborative work environment by effectively partnering with colleagues and demonstrating strong teamwork skills
Provide high-level administrative and analytical support for major projects, exercising autonomy in managing priorities and ensuring successful execution
Design and produce comprehensive reports by extracting, transforming, and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights that inform decision-making
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across all reports and databases
Ensure data integrity across all reporting platforms, applying critical thinking to validate and troubleshoot inconsistencies
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Understanding of basic Accounting Principles
Understanding of Expense reimbursement process
Understanding of basic Accounts Payable process
Advanced knowledge of MS-Office tools especially Excel
Strong attention to detail and organized
Ability to perform reporting functions; downloading, formatting and manipulating
Ability to perform and understand interest rate functions, including changes and calculations
Strong work and business ethics
High School Diploma required
1-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

Certificate level education or Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
