Responsibilities

Invoice Processing: Efficiently handle the processing of high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Accounts Payable and Receivables: Perform tasks related to both accounts payable and accounts receivables
Month-End Close Assistance: Collaborate in activities related to month-end closing procedures
Journal Entries: Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries
Assist with weekly check runs
Assist with positive pay
Maintain general accounting email inbox by responding to emails at an appropriate matter of time
Answer emails to maintain check status and stop payments if needed

Qualification

Accounting experienceNetSuite ERPMicrosoft ExcelInsurance industry experienceDetail-orientedEffective communicationOrganizational skills

Required

5+ years of prior experience in accounting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial data entry
Effective communication and organizational skills

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Background in the insurance sector
NetSuite ERP software preferred
