They are seeking an Engineering Manager for Web Platform and Infrastructure to lead a team in building and supporting cloud infrastructure and internal systems for their medical device technology.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers across infrastructure, compliance, and internal web platforms while contributing as an individual contributor on core projects
Define and drive the technical vision for infrastructure and internal systems, balancing leadership with hands-on implementation
Establish consistency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) across AWS environments
Oversee compliance practices for frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, and medical device regulatory requirements
Lead development of Mendaera’s internal web portal, to support manufacturing, service, and other operational workflows
Partner with stakeholders across engineering, clinical, and regulatory to align on priorities and execution
Enforce and hold a high bar for best practices in security, observability, automation, and availability

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in infrastructure or DevOps, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role
Strong technical background in AWS, networking, and infrastructure-as-code
Experience with web application infrastructure and internal tools
Hands-on experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Splunk, CloudWatch)
Excellent technical communication and ability to influence cross-functionally
Track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams

Preferred

Experience supporting medical device systems or other regulated environments
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, HITRUST) and regulated software development
Background in security architecture design and evaluation
Proficiency with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
