The School Aide/Paraprofessional/Student Assistant will support the implementation of behavioral support plans and assist in the development of students' emotional and behavioral skills.

Responsibilities

Implements, models, and assists staff and caregivers with implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans and Individual Treatment Plans, as designed by Behavioral Specialists, located in school, home or community settings as specified in the individual plan

Supports student development of various behavioral and emotional skills as specified in the PBSP

Assists caregivers and staff with addressing therapeutic needs of the student Implements Positive Behavior Support Plans and ABA-based interventions

Collects, enters, and graphs ABA data. Compiles and/or gathers, and organizes all data for monthly progress review

Assist school personnel (director, administrative assistant, teacher, teacher assistant, etc) or student to arrange the school’s environment to best meet the student’s physical and psychological needs

Assist school personnel with creating, copying, grading of classroom and student materials

Assist with proper crisis intervention and prevention techniques and complete appropriate forms

Perform Personal Care duties with toileting, eating and grooming activities when necessary

Performs other related duties as assigned
