Responsibilities

Drive the design, development, and integration of state-of-the-art AI solutions into healthcare products as an applied science leader

Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering to shape the Healthcare AI roadmap and deliver value to customers and partners

Play a pivotal role in attracting top talent, and talent development within the team

Lead by example in identifying and nurturing talent, engaging in regular career development discussions, and offering strategic guidance to support the professional growth of each team member

Promote excellence to ensure that team members have access to opportunities for advancement, while advocating for OHAI values to instill a sense of purpose and commitment throughout the team

Required

PhD or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or related technical field with focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence

A minimum of 5 years of people management experience

Proven experience leading applied science teams in AI/ML and product development

Strong background in recruiting, developing, and leading senior individual contributors (ICs) and building high-performing teams

Proven track record in delivering large-scale AI/ML products

Deep technical expertise in machine learning systems, GenAI/LLM model architectures, development/deployment of AI agents, and recommendation & ranking systems at enterprise scale

Demonstrated track record of delivering complex, high-impact features or products from concept to customer adoption and operational stability

Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic technical vision with operational execution and customer needs

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels including with enterprise customers

Experience driving end-to-end applied science solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams, including engineering, and customer-facing roles

10+ years of applied science or technical leadership experience, with significant recent leadership in AI, ML, recommendation systems
