Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of IEs focused on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, HPU reduction, and preventative process improvement

Provide training, coaching, and guidance for your staff to ensure their development and success

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical / non-technical) to identify, implement, and sustain initiatives and improvements

Oversee key process improvement efforts, communicating effectively with stakeholders and team members

Required

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience

5+ years relevant experience

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Proven leader, with experience leading a multi-functional team

Strong project management and organizational skills

Demonstrated understanding of business metrics to drive performance

Experienced in process development and continuous improvement

Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred

Excellent communication skills and experience tailoring presentations to stakeholders and varying levels of leadership

Ability to execute intent and operate with minimal direction

Ability to attract, develop, and retain talent

Experience or familiarity with data tools (Alteryx, Tableau) and software automation (VBA, C#, Python)

Experience with production MRP systems (ex., SAP, Apriso, etc)

Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related

Familiarity with labor time estimating and proposal/bidding process
